ECOPLIN Manufacture d.o.o. is one of the core companies within the ECOPLIN Group, headquartered in Višnja Gora, Slovenia. The origins of this family-owned enterprise date back to 1977, when founder Drago Zadel established Avtoprevoznik Drago Zadel s.p., marking the beginning of the family’s entrepreneurial journey in transport.
By 1990, the company had focused its operations exclusively on the transportation and delivery of liquefied petroleum gas (LPG).
To better manage the seasonal nature of the business, ECOPLIN Zadel d.o.o. was founded in 1993. Shortly thereafter, the company began performing initial inspections of pressure equipment, becoming one of the pioneers in this specialized field in Slovenia.
Between 2022 and 2024, the company underwent a full restructuring into three legally independent yet synergistically connected entities, forming today’s ECOPLIN Group. As part of this transformation, a strategic spin-off of technical and manufacturing activities led to the establishment of ECOPLIN Manufacture d.o.o., specializing in the design and production of LPG transport equipment.

Through a formal family constitution, the management of the ECOPLIN Group has successfully transitioned to the second generation. The founder’s children, Kristina and Urban Zadel, now lead their respective areas of the business—ensuring continuity, innovation, and a long-term vision for sustainable growth in the LPG industry.

Ecoplin Zadel d.o.o. provides professional LPG transport services using a modern fleet of bobtails, and semitrailers. The company delivers LPG safely, efficiently, and in full compliance with regulatory standards, serving both residential and industrial clients.
ECOPLIN KONTROLA d.o.o.
Inspection Body for Pressure Equipment
As an independent and accredited inspection body, Ecoplin Kontrola d.o.o. performs both mandatory and advanced inspections of pressure equipment (PED), transportable pressure equipment (TPED), and ADR tanks & vehicles. Using methods such as acoustic emission testing, inspections can be performed without the need to empty tanks—minimizing downtime and maximizing safety.

Production of LPG Vehicles and Equipment
Ecoplin Manufacture designs and manufacture custom-engineered LPG transport tanks, semitrailers, bobtail units, and storage systems. All products are manufactured in accordance with PED, TPED, ADR, and EN standards, and tailored to meet specific operational and market needs across Europe.
